AVT-3343 is ideal for watching
DVD movies on a PC Monitor. It converts a YPbPr (480p or 576p) at
31KHz Horizontal Scan Rate to a standard VGA (RGBHV) signal for connecting
to a PC monitor. This significantly improves the picture quality
of most NTSC or PAL DVD images.
Special Application Note - The unit also converts a YUV signal, also called
YCbCr (480i or 576i), at 15.75KHz to an RGB signal at 15.75KHz with various
sync configurations. While this signal cannot be displayed on a
PC Monitor, there are some special applications that require this type
of signal. The AVT-3343 does not do Horizontal Rate Conversion,
so if the input signal is 15.75KHz, so is the output. Likewise,
if the input signal is 31.5KHz, so is the output. .
