AVT-5442 Automatic Router allows
you connect four Composite Video and Stereo Audio sources and select which
of them is routed to the output. Two outputs are provided to feed
two devices with the same signal, such as a TV Set and a VCR. Multiple
input devices, such as VCR's, DVD Players, Video Game Consoles, Satellite
Receivers, etc., can be connected to two destination devices without moving
cables around. The AVT-5442 functions in two modes, Automatic or
Manual. In the Manual mode, the front panel push button selects
which input is chosen. In the Automatic mode, the input signal that
is present is automatically selected, so you choose the source by turning
its power On and leaving the power switched Off to the other sources.
This eliminates the need for an additional Remote Control to operate the
switcher. If more than one source signal is present, a front panel
LED flashes to alert you to switch power off to all but one device.
The award winning circuit employed in the AVT-5442 insures that no signal
degradation takes place, so the quality you put in is the same as the
quality you get out.
