K-VS3FW and K-VS6FW are
3 and 6 port Firewire Repeaters/Hubs for use in any application where
additional Firewire (IEEE 1394) ports are needed. Several units may be
cascaded to create up to a 63 port Firewire system. Both units support
100, 200, and 400 Mbps transfer rate, enabling high rate digital video
transfer and allow “hot plugging”. They effectively extend
the standard 4.5m operation range of Firewire, even doubling the range
when using appropriate cabling. These units are housed in small enclosures:
the K-VS3FW in Kramer PicoTools size box and the
K-VS6FW in a standard Kramer Tools size box. Both units
come with one cable and an appropriate power supply
